The symbol on the Paper Select button looks like a sheet of paper with the top left edge folded. You can change the selected paper size by pressing the Paper Select button below the screen. If you just see the letter L by itself, you’ll need to change it to LTR. If you want to print on Letter size paper, please make sure that you see LTR on the lower part of the printer's display. You’ll see the selected paper size in the lower half of that little screen. The display located near the buttons is divided into an upper and lower half. I recommend that you look at the printer’s display first. For example, if you have letter-size paper selected at the computer, you will need to make sure that the paper setting on the printer is set to LTR. You will need to check the paper size setting at the printer and on your computer. The E,5,9 error indicates a problem with the paper size setting.
